CEOs Walk the Walk Year-To-Date Results in - $93,000 Plus
CEOs Walk the Walk is now less than $7,000 from reaching
their ambitious second year goal of $100,000. The team
currently ranks 14th on the March of Dimes list of Top Texas
Teams, and boasts six members on the March of Dimes list
of Top Texas Walkers, including the fifth place walker for
the entire state. CEOs Walk the Walk continues its efforts
to top its 2003 goal of $100,000. Results are in from their
September gala reception and celebrity golf tournament,
and their current total is $93,400, in only the second year
of the group’s existence.
CEOs Walk the Walk’s overall goal continues to be obtaining 250 CEO members and
to raise $250,000. Driskill says, “We’re inching toward the $100,000 mark for
2003, and much of our CEO community is pitching in with ideas and fundraisers
to help push us over that goal. We will have quadrupled what we did our first
year – an amazing show by the CEO community.”
Top money raisers so far in 2003 are:
* Cynthia Driskill, $23,178
* Cathy Sweeney, CRESA Partners Capital Markets, $10,555
* Don Hultgren, Southwest Securities, Member of SWS Group, $8,000
* Don Hanratty, Optimance, $5,000
* Rollie O. Waters, The Waters Consulting Group, Inc., $3,255
* Linda Crawford, Delta Dallas Companies, $3,000
About CEOs Walk the Walk
CEOs Walk the Walk was established in 2002 when Cynthia Driskill, CEO of CDG
and member of the Dallas Division Board of the March of Dimes, recognized an
untapped opportunity. Her vision was to provide a way for small and medium size
businesses to collectively make a much bigger impact than any one of the companies
could by itself. The team raised nearly $24,000 in 2002, and targets $100,000
this year. The two-year goal is to sign up 250 CEOs and raise $250,000. For more
