Cynthia Driskill Receives
YWCA Women Of Achievement Award For Outstanding Corporate Success
Cynthia Driskill, founder and president of CDG & Associates, has
received the Women of Achievement Award from the Richardson YWCA.
Her business accomplishments and success in the corporate arena
warrant Driskill's recognition as a leader within the Dallas community.
CDG is a premier national consulting firm specializing in the implementation
and maintenance of high-end human resources information systems
for Fortune 1000 companies.
Nominees for the Women of Achievement award must embody the spirit
of the YWCA, which creates opportunities for women's growth, leadership
and power. Other criteria require that all candidates have contributed
to the mission and/or bottom line of their corporation and are working
within the area serving the Richardson YWCA.
Nominations fell within five categories: small business, non-profit,
public affairs, corporate and high-tech corporate. A committee of
recognized community leaders and business executives reviewed the
nominations and selected the winner in each division, with Driskill
being chosen as the award recipient in the corporate category.
"It is important for the women of our community to be recognized
for their business accomplishments," said Driskill. "With
awards such as this, the Richardson YWCA is truly fulfilling its
mission to create more exposure and opportunities for women."
