Cynthia Driskill Named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year For The Southwest Area In Service Category

Driskill will now participate in national Entrepreneur Of The Year competition.

Cynthia Driskill received the Southwest Area's 2000 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year award for her outstanding achievements in the service area. Driskill is the founder and president of CDG & Associates (CDG), a premier national consulting firm specializing in the implementation and maintenance of high-end human resources information systems (HRIS) for Fortune 1000 companies. CDG has established implementation partner status with SAP, the Ultimate Software Group, and eLabor.com. CDG is also an official Contract Service Provider for PeopleSoft.

The Ernst & Young award program recognizes those outstanding entrepreneurs who have demonstrated excellence and extraordinary success in areas including innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses. Driskill has proven such success, growing CDG from a business with 5 employees and gross sales of a little over $500,000 in 1987 to a national company with almost 100 employees and expected revenues of over $20,000,000 for 2000. Driskill is now eligible to participate in the Ernst & Young's National Entrepreneur Of The Year awards competition, to be held at a black-tie event in Palm Springs, Calif., on November 11, 2000.

Driskill launched her career as an independent consultant in 1981 and has since become an expert in the installation and implementation of HRIS products, with extensive knowledge in IT and software consulting. She has developed a successful proprietary methodology, authored numerous technical manuals, developed innovative training programs and has been a frequent lecturer on the subject of HRIS implementation. CDG is a women-owned business and has been certified as a Women-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE).
