WORKING WOMAN Awards Local Women Business Owners in Texas Region With Third Annual Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards

Regional Winners Could Go National

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 9, 2001--Showcasing some of the most exciting women entrepreneurs who are energizing the American economy, WORKING WOMAN magazine today awarded Texas-based women business owners with regional Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards (www.workingwoman.com/EEA). The third of a series of six regional events, which will culminate with the National Awards in April, was held today at the Hotel Inter-Continental and was sponsored by AT&T, ING Aetna Financial Services, Kauffman Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter and Office Depot.

These regional awards drew over 50 nominations, with the winning entrepreneurs from the states listed below (some won in more than one of the eight categories).

The Third Annual Working Woman Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards celebrate and recognize the accomplishments of women business owners, and is the first national campaign to specifically identify the achievements of women entrepreneurs.
