Travel

Our consultants regularly travel to client locations to work. Frequent travel can be both challenging and rewarding. Consider the following rewards or ways in which we make travel as easy as we can for you:

  • Personal growth. If you've never traveled to a distant location to perform a job for a client, you will grow professionally with this experience. You will learn how to function effectively in unfamiliar settings, inspire the trust of people you've just met, and gain confidence in your ability to solve problems large and small.

  • Weekends at home. You can return home each weekend. Or, as long as it is less expensive than flying home, you can spend the weekend in the Caribbean or have someone join you in your remote city.

  • Flexible residence location. Consultants can have their residence anywhere that is convenient to a major airport.

  • Flexible work week. Consultants can distribute their work week over four or five calendar days, depending on personal preference, project demands, and client requirements.

  • Airline miles. Our consultants keep for personal use any frequent flyer miles or hotel points they accrue.

  • Business travel guidance. As part of your initial orientation, you'll learn common techniques used by business travelers and ways to make your travel easier.

  • Compensation adjustments for state taxes. By law we must deduct state income tax for the state(s) in which the consultant works. Sometimes our consultants work on assignments in states with income taxes higher than their state of residence. So we compensate them for the difference.

We have to travel in our business. So we strive to make it as easy as we can for our consultants. If you have questions, contact us.
