Fast Track Development Plan
CDG & Associates accelerates the development of newly hired
consultants through our Fast Track Development Plan, which consists
of 3 tracks:
- Administration - learn about administrative procedures
and reporting
- Certification - learn hard and soft consulting skills
through workshops and supplemental training materials; areas include
CDG methodology, CDG culture, product training, project management,
verbal communication, personal development, team leadership, and
presentation skills
- Training Pilot - apply and practice skills in role-playing
activities in which CDG & Associates is your client; this
approach allows us to provide information and guidance through
the process and identify any additional training needs
Ongoing professional support and development
After you complete the Fast Track Development Plan, we provide
ongoing support for your professional success in the field through
the following:
- Designated new hire partners who
help each other generate ideas and solutions
- Regular product meetings with other CDG consultants
- Additional product training
- Project-specific training
- Supplemental professional development activities (for example,
coaching from a senior consultant, developmental assignment to
a client, or formal training)
Guided preparation for Certified Payroll Professional
(CPP) examination
Our Director of Consulting Services, Lucy Key Price, CPP, leads
a series of internal study sessions to help prepare CDG consultants
for the certifying examination for Certified Payroll Professional
(CPP). Traditionally, CDG consultants have a very high pass rate.
As a CDG consultant, you can elect to participate in these study
sessions in pursuit of certification.
